Jquery slideshow background doesn't allow me to put in a specific color for the background

Q: I'm having trouble with getting my slideshow to work. The slides show and run just fine. It's when I add other items to the page, those items do not show on the web.

Also, I cannot put in a specific color for the background. It goes to black regardless what color is specified. It will change colors when I use the color slider, however it is difficult to match exactly to the background color of the website.

Hopefully you can give me some suggestions on how to correct the situation.

A: Notice, you should use VisualSlideShow HTML code from comments only:

<!-- Start VisualSlideShow.com HEAD section --> and <!-- End VisualSlideShow.com HEAD section -->,
<!-- Start VisualSlideShow.com BODY section --> and <!-- End VisualSlideShow.com BODY section -->.

Background color of page with VisualSlideShow is set by following line:

<body style="background-color:#ffffff">

This line is outside comments. So, if you'll not add this line into the code of your page, VisualSlideShow couldn't affect on background color of your page.

If problem will persist, please send us a direct link to your webpage with VisualSlideShow, so we can check it.
