Q: Dear Support,
I know where to go to edit the "Transition time" and "Slideshow delay", but I don't
understand these parameters enough to know what values to use in each. I want to slow down the slideshow on my page, so that it runs slower and the viewer has enough time to read all of the captions on the slide show pictures. Can you please tell me what would be good values to use for both of these options to slow it down a bit to make it give enough time for the slide show viewer to read the longer slide show captions?
A: The 'Transition time' parameter is responsible for the time of effect that you use.
The 'Slideshow delay' controls the time the slide is displayed in your slideshow.
So, the greater the 'Slideshow delay' value you set, the longer the slide is displayed.
