Q: I was just reviewing your new visual slide show product and I have a couple of questions.
The images that are used are they all downloaded when the user first opens the browser to the site or are they downloaded as needed.
The reason for this question is I am building a site that has a LOT of pictures in a relatively high resolution. I do not want to download these images when the user first opens the page as this could be a tremendous amount of data thus using a lot of time and memory.
A: All images should be pre-loaded before slideshow will start the playing.
You can try to use another our product WOWSlider:
It's more suitable in your case. It provides "On-demand image loading" option. So, only first image should be pre-loaded and slideshow will start the playing. All other images will be pre-loaded from the script during the playing.
