Q: Your software does not seem to like vertical images no matter which image options I choose in the tools menu. Shrink large or stretch small, it still cuts off heads. I have even gone through resizing all images in my slideshow so the software wouldn't need to work so hard to size them, still not working. There is nothing on your website about not using vertical images, is that not an option?
Any suggestions for vertical images would be greatly appreciated. I am using version 2.0 and have a full use license.
I really want to love this software, but these issues are making it difficult.
A: It is possible to use both: vertical and horizontal orientated images.
You should:
1) specify slideshow size:
- open Gallery->Properties->Images: Image size,
- select size you need from the drop down list
or set your own size using 'Custom size' option.
2) turn on the following options:
Gallery->Properties->Images: Preserver aspect ratio
3) turn off:
Gallery->Properties->Images: Stretch small images
Gallery->Properties->Images: Shrink large images
