Visual SlideShow

Q: I have download today the free version of photo slide show.
After I have installed the program, it fails to open.

An error message saying "Visual Slideshow has stopped working" appears.

I have tried several alternatives to find a solution but i get no result.
I installed photo slide show on another PC and it works fine.
But i want it on my notebook, where i develop the web pages.

My notebook runs windows vista, I have done all the updates.

Please help me to solve this issue as i am unable to use the program.

A: Try to do the following:

Control panel -> System -> Advanced system settings -> (Performance) Settings -> Data Execution Prevention.

Turn off DEP or add Visual Slideshow in the exception list.
