Yes, it is possible.
Just set the following option for the slideshow:
- turn off thumbnails:
Gallery->Properties->Thumbnails: Enable thumbnsils,
click to disable this option
- select 'No frame' template for the slideshow:
Gallery->Properties->Images: Template,
select 'No frame' from the list
2. Ability to add different links to the images
Yes, it is also possible.
To add link to image you should select image by clicking on it
and specify link you need for this image in the 'Url'
field just below the main window.

3. Ability to change the slideshow speed
You can change 'Slideshow Delay' and 'Transition Time'.
Use the appropriate sliders on the Gallery->Properties->Images window.
